About THE ARTIST

Jessie is a tattoo artist in Los Angeles, California.

She began managing Chicago Tattoo Company in 2014, working closely with body tattooers and piercers. From there, she attended the Advanced Permanent Cosmetic Academy in January 2017 where she was certified in microblading. Micro Penny Cosmetic Tattoo opened in January 2017 in Chicago. She also trained in non-laser saline lightening with Teryn Darling (January 2019). Machine Conversion with Kimberly Morgan at the Advanced Permanent Cosmetic Academy (February 2020), and Mary Ritcherson’s NanoStrokes®️ technique (April 2021). After owning her own cosmetic tattooing business in Chicago for four years, she joined the opening team at Studio Sashiko Downtown Los Angeles in November 2021. She is excited to now be a part of the team at Earth Altar Tattoo Studio in the Eagle Rock neighborhood. After Earth Altar’s closure in May 2023, she opened her private tattoo studio in Hollywood.

Jessie began offering realism-style body tattoos in January 2022. In January 2023, Micro Penny Cosmetic Tattoo transformed into Pink Suede Tattoo.

Prior to tattooing, Jessie has worked in technology and social media marketing fields for major brands and ran a fashion blog for ten years. Stepping away from these corporate worlds gave her a new appreciation of the tattoo industry. In her free time she enjoys cross-stitching, tennis, and exploring Los Angeles. Parking
You can enter the parking garage from Sunset Blvd, Ivar, or Delongpre. Walk out of the parking garage going towards the Cinerama Dome and you’ll see the Salon republic entrance! Be sure to take your parking ticket with you. With validation at our front desk, parking is $3 for the first 2 hours plus $2 each our after (maximum $15). When you exit the studio, there will be payment kiosks in the plaza headed back to the parking garage.
